In the engineering challenge, students are asked to apply their knowledge to solve a real world problem. In their guide, students are presented with a step-by-step process of the planning and building process.

Students will

  1. Identify the problem they’re solving

  2. Review the information they have learned on the topic

  3. Brainstorm potential solutions

  4. Hone their ideas into one that they will develop

  5. Build the product

  6. Test the product

  7. Iterate on the product design
