Teachers can roster students directly through Google Classrooms or through a .CSV.
Go to the "My Classrooms" page
Select "Import Students"
3. Select how you'd like to import your students: through a .csv or through Google Classrooms.
Importing Students Through Google Classrooms
A. Select "Import from Google Classrooms"
B. Select the class you'd like to import.
C. Press "Save."
Importing Students Through a .CSV
As a teacher, you need to sign in to your account and then:
A. Select "Choose File" and select your saved .csv. Click "Next"
B. Create your CSV file to import. NOTE: Your .csv should have these 5 column headings EXACTLY as it is written (case sensitive) which would contain the following information about your students:
First Name
Last Name
Email Address
Classroom Name
Password
Save your file (be sure the extension says .csv)
C. Select "Choose File" and select your saved .csv. Click Next.
D. Once it says complete, students will be in their assigned classroom.
